At Chalmers University of Technology, every master's programme concludes with a master's thesis project. The purpose of this final degree project is to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for independent work as an engineer with a Master's degree—giving students the chance to apply their expertise to real-world challenges, particularly through collaboration with industry or the public sector. The thesis, which includes a public report and oral presentation, corresponds to 30 credits (roughly 16 weeks of work) and is supervised by Chalmers researchers.

Who should attend:

Master's students interested in carrying out their thesis in collaboration with an organization are encouraged to take part, as are Chalmers researchers considering a role as supervisors.

Companies and public sector organizations are also welcome. Chalmers actively works to create platforms where students can connect and collaborate with industry and the public sector.
